As a small independent brand, staying sustainable isn’t always easy, but it’s non-negotiable. From ingredients to packaging, every decision we make keeps the environmental impact front and centre. We’re not perfect (yet), but we’re always working toward being better, for your skin, your shelf, and the future of our planet. Our mission is to build a brand that is transparent and intentional, from supply chain to shower routine.
Ingredient Promises
Our products are clean, kind, and consciously crafted because what we leave out matters just as much as what we put in.
We use organic, plant-based ingredients that are safe, sustainable, and responsibly sourced. Every ingredient is carefully selected and rigorously vetted, with care for your skin, the planet, and the people involved in the production process.

Shipping
Your order will be packed with care, arriving at your doorstep without leaving a mess behind. From start to finish, we keep things low-waste and planet-friendly.
No printed invoices, we’re fully digital to cut down on unnecessary paper use.
We use recycled and recyclable materials only. Our shipping boxes are made from recycled cardboard and can be recycled again after use.
We reuse everything we can, from bubble wrap to paper fill, repurposing packaging from incoming deliveries to give it a second life and reduce waste.
We also use starch-based biodegradable packing peanuts that dissolve in water and break down naturally, leaving no trace behind.
Packaging Choices
Packaging can be cute and conscious. At Olive Roe, we avoid excess wherever we can, because what happens after you’ve used the product matters just as much as what’s inside it.
We keep it low-waste and high-impact by choosing fully recyclable glass jars, aluminium tins, and compostable cardboard wherever possible.
Our caps and pumps are made from polypropylene (PP), a widely recyclable plastic that’s durable, non-toxic, and doesn’t leach into liquids.
We also keep it local. Most of our packaging is sourced here in the UK or Europe, reducing transport emissions and supporting nearby suppliers.
Studio Practices
Our day-to-day operations matter just as much as what we make. At Olive Roe, we're committed to running a studio that's as thoughtful as our products.
We make everything in small batches, only producing what we need, so your products stay fresh and waste stays low.
From packaging to production scraps, we reuse and repurpose wherever possible to give materials a second life.
We keep our production energy use minimal, favouring hands-on processes over machines to keep our energy use low.
We work with UK and European suppliers as much as possible to reduce transport emissions and support businesses close to home.

Reduce: Buy what you’ll use. Keep it intentional.
Reuse: Give your jars and tins a second life. Clean them out, then get creative. Storage, DIYs, or refills!
Recycle: When you’re all done, recycle responsibly to keep the loop going.
